These Stranger Things Co-Stars Might Be Dating IRL and We’re Totally Shipping the Spooky Hook-Up
We know you’re just as obsessed with Stranger Things as we are, eagerly awaiting the season two return of the super spooky series. But while we get ready to see what’s happening in the upside-down, two of the cast members may have found love IRL.
Fans of the show will soon be familiar with Natalia Dyer and Charlie Heaton as two of the characters joining the series, Stranger Things’ teens Jonathan Byers and Nancy Wheeler. And while there’s been buzz about a possible IRL romance between the two, we may finally have confirmation of the relationship. Sort of. Kind of. Maybe.
Catching up with the actors at LAX on Wednesday, TMZ asked the duo about the nature of their relationship (no subtlety needed, natch). The two were perfectly willing to answer, although we’re not exactly sure what it is that they said.
While Dyer first responded with a vague, “Whether people are dating or hanging out, I think that our cast is just cool with each other. I won’t speak for anyone else, but it’s just, you know… we’re all one big family.”
Heaton added, “I think there’s a lot of buzz about the show, so people like to read into certain things.” Granted, but when blatantly asked if they are in fact dating, the two simply walked away without another word. Oh my!
We’ll be able to see their possible chemistry ourselves when season two of Strangers Things hits Netflix on October 31.
