This Bachelor Couple Just Joined the Ranks of the Show’s Proud Parents
Say what you will about The Bachelor and The Bachelorette, the smash hit reality TV franchises have tooootally sparked true love (even if some of the contestants do have some surprising confessions and weird AF professions). While we eagerly await more proof from the premiere of Ben Higgins and Lauren Bushnell’s spinoff show: Ben and Lauren: Happily Ever After!, season 17 alums, Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici Lowe, have just joined the ranks of those to make us believe by welcoming their first child, Samuel Thomas, into the world after saying “I do” in a televised ceremony.
The proud new parents shared the happy news with the world last night, making separate Twitter announcements just two minutes apart, full of love-filled messages to fans.
Now, the couple has shared the first photo of the little tyke, simply captioned, “Samuel Thomas, I think I’m in love.”

See! It is totally possible to find your better half with cameras filming your every interaction and millions of people watching! But we already knew that, of course: Just take a look back at some of the show’s other alum couples, who have also started their families after finding love on the show.

1. Trista Rehn and Ryan Sutter. The O.G. Bachelorette, who kicked off the spinoff series after coming in second place on The Bachelor‘s first season, surprised fans by tying the knot with Ryan in December 2003. Girl knew what she was doing, though, as the couple is still happily married and now has two kids: seven-year-old Maxwell and six-year-old Blakesley.
2. Jason Mesnick and Molly Malaney.TheBachelor‘s season 13 star, Jason, has gone down in history for shamelessly changing his mind at the very last second (when he gave his final rose to Melissa Rycroft, then broke up with her during the show’s reunion special and asked runner-up Molly to give him a chance). Apparently not one to hold a grudge, Molly said “Yes!” and they walked down the aisle in 2010. In 2013, they welcomed their daughter, Riley Anne, to their growing family, which also includes Jason’s 11-year-old son, Ty.
3. Ashley Hebert and JP Rosenbaum. After picking J.P. as her soulmate on The Bachelorette‘s seventh season, Ashley and her man took part in a televised wedding ceremony back in December 2012. Fast forward two years and Ashley gave birth to their first child, an adorable baby boy named Fordham.

4. Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried. Bonus! Two months ago, the couple who fell in love on The Bachelorette‘s ninth season, took to Instagram to make a biiiig announcement. “We have a bun in the oven and it’s not the warm pastry kind!” Desiree captioned the photo above. “We are beyond excited to share that we have a little one on the way!! A new chapter we are both looking forward to.”
Guess there really is no stopping true love: even under the strangest of circumstances! Who’s next? Jade and Tanner, we’re looking at you!
