This Elsa-Inspired Boozy Brunch Will Give You Major Frozen Fever
Ever since Disney’s Frozen came out in 2014, we all hear the phrase “Let it go” a little differently. Not only did the movie make “Let It Go” stuck in our heads at least a hundred times, it also influenced wedding dresses and travel trends. Personally, I’m not surprised. Queen Elsa is *beyond* fierce. From her vocal pipes to her killer fashion taste (not to mention her actual superhuman powers), she definitely deserves the title of Ice Queen.
Because our Frozen fever is still alive and well, today we’re showing you how to throw a modern boozy brunch inspired by the Queen of Arendelle. After all, the cold never bothered us anyway!
Ready to cast a chilly spell over your brunch table? Let’s do this!
Elsa’s Frozen Fractal Champagne Cocktail
First up is making a boozy concoction that the Ice Queen would approve of.
Ingredients:
- rock candy sticks
- Champagne
- lemon
- white sprinkles
Inspired by her crystal powers, this Champagne cocktail is a breeze to make. Just wet the rim of your glass with a lemon wedge, and dip the rim into a bowl of icy white sprinkles. Insert a stick of rock candy into the glass, and top it off with a splash of Champagne. Now watch those frozen fractals sparkle!
“My power flurries through the air into the ground… My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around!” — Elsa (AKA the Beyoncé of Disney princesses)
Adorn your table with a shimmery silver tablecloth and a glittery table runner. Top the runner with a line of paper snowflakes to add dimension.
If Elsa got into baking in Frozen 2, I would expect her to make treats like these. Decorate mini vanilla donuts with shredded coconut and dust cookies with powdered sugar. It’ll feel like you’re eating sweet, fluffy snowballs. :)
Snowflake-Kissed Pancakes
Speaking of snowy treats, this one is a must-have.
Aren’t these delightful? When it comes to doing Disney-inspired DIYs, it’s all about the little details. Make your favorite pancake recipe and place a snowflake stencil on it. Dust heavily with powdered sugar and remove stencil to reveal a perfectly snowy pancake!
Scones too? Yes please!
Place a frosted-tip pinecone at each place setting for extra frosty adorableness.
Let it gooo. Let it gooo. Can’t hold it back anymore. Let’s dig in!
“Here I stand… And here I’ll stay!”
