This Is Lindsay Lohan’s Explanation for Her Strange New Accent
When we heard Lindsay Lohan’s new (totally made up) accent that she’s deemed “Lilohan,” we were as mesmerized as we were weirded out. Understanding the need for change is one thing, but this is… well, it’s kinda classic Lindsay Lohan at this point. And while it’s raising eyebrows, Lindsay has now given us an explanation for her new way of speaking.
Though she didn’t quite explain why she’s adopted a new accent, she did explain where her new particular (peculiar) way of speaking came from. “It’s a mixture of most of the languages I can understand or am trying to learn,” she said according to Perez Hilton.
She added, “I’ve been learning different languages since I was a child. I’m fluent in English and French, can understand Russian, and am learning Turkish, Italian and Arabic.”
English + French + Russian + Turkish + Italian + Arabic = Lilohan. Yowza.
Though it’s no doubt intriguing and capturing peeps attention, we have to wonder how long Lindsay can keep it up. Is Lilohan permanent? Or will Lindsay eventually fade back to her good ol’ American accent?
