The New Han Solo Movie Just Released the Cast Photo of Your Dreams
When you think “Disney movie” these days, Beauty and the Beast is probably one of the first things that pops into your head, right? We’re all super excited to see Emma Watson as Belle, and we know we’re not alone. But a new Disney cast photo was released today, and we aren’t talking your typical princess/love story/girl power narrative… at least, not in the way that you think. This time we’re talking about epic space adventure movies — as in, Star Wars. And while we’re beyond impatient already for The Last Jedi, we now have something else to look forward to: a movie just for Han Solo and Chewie’s (mis)adventures prior to A New Hope. YAAASSS.
Even more exciting? We just got a glimpse of the cast, and we are starstruck.
There’s Alden Ehrenreich as Han Solo, Donald Glover as Lando Calrissian, and Joonas Suotamo as Chewbacca. You may also recognize DaenerysEmilia Clarke, Woody Harrelson, and Fleabag‘s Phoebe Waller-Bridge, though we don’t have the names for their characters yet. The movie will also star Westworld‘s Thandie Newton and will explore Han and Chewie’s solo (no pun intended) adventures long before they ever met Luke, Leia, and Rey.
