This Woman Hacked Her Fridge So It Now Dispenses Wine

The holidays can be a rough time, especially when dealing with various family dynamics and shopping stress. And if you’re the sort of person who relies on a sip of wine or two (or 10) to get you through, then you’re definitely going to want to check this out. One woman (who’s obviously a brilliant and resourceful gal) hacked her fridge so that the water dispenser now pours out wine instead.
28-year-old blogger Clare Potts shared what is surely her most memorable moment on Twitter, showing herself pouring a bottle of wine into the water container in her fridge and then enjoying the spoils of her efforts, i.e. getting herself a glass of wine. She added the totally self-aware caption, “My adult life just peaked.” Perhaps that’s true Clare, and all we can say is: bravo!
Mashable actually interviewed Clare to find out the thought process behind this revelation, and she explained that after moving into a new apartment and finding out their fridge had the handy water dispenser, “My boyfriend Joe was telling me [the fridge] came with a wine rack and I just said, ‘Why don’t we just put it in the water cooler?’ It seemed like the obvious thing to do. [It’s] exactly the same as if you’re filling [the fridge] with water, just add wine in the water tank … and use the tap as normal.” *slow clap*
