Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus Celebrate Miley Cyrus’ Wedding to Liam Hemsworth With New Photos
No achy-breaky hearts here! Nearly a decade after they first fell in love, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth married in an intimate wedding in Tennessee on Sunday, December 23. The bride and groom confirmed the rumored nuptials a few days after the fact, sharing some gorgeous photos from the big day on Instagram, and now Cyrus’ parents, Tish and Billy Ray, are following suit with their own celebratory pics.
Tish took to social media on Thursday, December 27, to post two photos: one of her and Billy Ray standing on either side of the “Malibu” singer in front of a stone fireplace covered in roses, and one of just Cyrus and her dad. “This makes my heart so happy,” the proud mom captioned the first image, adding a heart emoji for good measure.
Bill Ray also posted multiple pics from the wedding, including the one of him, Tish, and their daughter, who wore a gorgeous, off-the-shoulder Vivienne Westwood gown. “Congratulations @mileycyrus and @liamhemsworth! Long live love!” he wrote in the caption. He shared the same message on a close-up photo of the newlyweds embracing by the fireplace.
His third post was a shot of the bride and groom preparing to cut into their two-layer wedding cake as guests, including Cyrus’ sisters Noah and Brandi, gather around them to watch. There are balloons and flowers in the background, and cupcakes and other goodies on the table in front of them. “Wedding wouldn’t be complete without one shot from Dad’s outdated Blackberry camera,” Billy Ray joked. “Love seeing all so happy.”
