TJ Maxx Just Made This Size-Inclusive Addition to Its Online Store

We love TJ Maxx and all (what’s not to love? Even Aly Raisman shops there!), but shopping at the discount fashion mecca hasn’t always been the easiest for everyone. Though the store has carried plus-sizes for some time, there was little to offer for those on the opposite end of the sizing spectrum: petites.

Now, the brand had some exciting news to announce on its site, however, with a banner directing customers to its newly added section catering specifically to ladies on the shorter side. Featuring items that are notoriously difficult for women of the 5’4”-and-under set to rock (e.g. ankle pants, maxi dresses, and midi skirts), as they tend to fall well below the mark they aim to hit, petites can now shop TJ Maxx for all their lower-priced designer needs. And just in time to find the perfect dress for Easter Brunch. Huzzah!

It’s just the latest in a recent flood of moves we’ve seen retailers make in order to be more inclusive of its customers: There’s also a new beauty company that caters solely to women of color and a new Nike plus-size line to speak of.

Way to go, guys! Check out TJ Maxx’s new petite line here.

Are you pumped that T.J. Maxx will now have a petite section? Tell us over @BritandCo.
