Too Faced’s Cult-Favorite Unicorn Tears Lipstick Is Coming in a Liquid Form
When Too Faced’s La Crème Color Drenched Lipstick ($22) in Unicorn Tears debuted in 2015, the beauty world went nuts. After all, it had all the makings of a hit: cool packaging, it was pegged to an ultra-hot trend, and the product itself is actually SO good.
Now, the 2015 favorite is coming back for a second go-around as it prepares to go next level by taking its iridescent shimmer formula and melting it down into an — eeee! — liquid format.
The brand’s co-founder, Jerrod Blandino, teased a clip of the product’s transformation back in January, saying, “This is what happens when you melt a *unicorn emoji*.”Now, six months later, the finished product is HERE.
“We did it, we melted our best-selling Unicorn Tears lipstick and made it extra glossy! Our Unicorn Tears Melted Latex High Shine lipstick is going to make all your unicorn dreams come true,” Blandino posted on Instagram. And it’s. So. Pretty.
The beauty brand founder also explained the differences between the two, saying, “While our original La Crème Unicorn Tears provides creamy color and hydration and our BRAND NEW Melted Latex in Unicorn Tears gives you a burst of intense, buildable high shine color with all the blossoming color magic of the original!”
And you won’t have to wait long to get your hands on this bad boy. The gloss is dropping on June 15, Thursday. Unicorn magic, here we come!
