Trading Spaces Is Coming Back to TLC After 10 Years!
We’re apparently in a golden age of remakes and reboots, from the Gilmore Girls to Beauty and the Beast. And now, TLC’s beloved Trading Spaces is joining the trend by announcing that our fave classic design show is coming back after 10 long years. Yay!
The big news broke at the Discovery Communications Upfront presentation, and according to Fox News, TLC’s President and General Manager Nancy Daniels told a thrilled crowd, “I am excited to announce that TLC’s most successful and most iconic series… Trading Spaces is coming back.”
The original reality series ran from 2000 to 2008 with host Paige Davis leading the show for most of those years, but there is no news on whether or not she (or any of the popular designers, including Genevieve Gorder, Vern Yip, Carter Ossterhouse, and Ty Pennington) will be returning with the reboot when it comes back to TV in 2018. We’ll just have to keep our fingers crossed while we start eyeing our decor once more.
