The Trendiest Easter Decor For 2018 According to Pinterest
The second we saw peanut-butter chocolate eggs filling the candy aisle, we knew it was time to start thinking Easter. And right on cue, Pinterest came out with their latest report highlighting the trends to look forward to for the season. Beyond the usual series of pastels and multi-hued eggs, they’re introducing four twists on traditional decor that promise to take your Easter activities up a level. From baskets with extra flair to edible tablescapes, these options will delight everybunny (hee hee). Scroll below to see the trends.
1. Tasty Tablescapes: Easter and brunch pretty much go hand in hand. But this year, replace your usual tulip lineup with a centerpiece you can eat and enjoy. Everything from colorful fruits and candies to decorated eggs lining the table are flooding our feeds (and have been pinned 55 percent more this year). Play around with the foods you love for a truly delectable design. (via Emily Henderson)
2. Elevated Easter Eggs: Move over, basic dip dye. For 2018, we’re seeing marbled easter eggs (saves are up 131 percent) and glittered options (up 130 percent) taking over our boards. Truth be told, we’re not mad about it at all — bring on the glitter! (via Studio DIY)
3. Fringe Benefits: Easter baskets are another huge hit for the holiday, and right now fringed versions (saves are up 207 percent year over year) and tasseled renditions (pinned 96 percent more often) are filling our pages. (via A Kailo Chic Life)
4. Cherry Blossom Accents: This year, it’s all about cherry blossom wreaths (pins are up 82 percent this year). Cheerful blossom decor in general (up 111 percent) also promises to be BIG. Think sprigs on your table to eggs adorned in the pretty floral itself (like the beyond-amazing unicorn eggs here) for no shortage of flower power for Easter 2018. (via Little Inspiration)
