Tyra Banks Could Be Your Next College Professor
To be totally honest, we’ve learned a hell of a lot from Tyra Banks over the last 20 years or so. We’ve learned how to smize, embrace our inner fierceness and how to fake-faint like a total pro. But if you want to absorb the ENTIRE wealth of knowledge Tyra holds under those flawless beach waves, you can now do that in an official capacity over at Stanford University.
Starting next spring, the iconic supermodel will be teaching a course to 25 lucky students alongside TV producer Allison Kluger at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business. The course will be called, “Project You: Building and Extending your Personal Brand,” and will focus on creating and defining your own brand. At the end of the course, students will share their “honed personal brand” through three platforms: Facebook Live, TV and YouTube.
Obviously, as a supermodel, she’s created a business around herself in the most literal of senses — but she also has had a myriad of other businesses, both in the past and present. She recently launched a cosmetic line. She has hosted her own talk show. She’s even published a novel. We’re rooting for you, Tyra.
