Tyra Banks Thinks Lindsay Lohan “Is Excited to Come Back” for Life Size 2
It’s taken 17 years, but Tyra Banks finally agreed to step into the role of Eve in Disney’s Life-Size 2 after previously passing on the project more than a decade ago. “I turned down Life Size 2,” she revealed to Entertainment Tonight in a new interview. “I don’t know if I’ve said that, personally. Fifteen years ago, I turned it down!”
Plans are coming together now, but we still don’t know if the film’s other star is on board. Would Life-Size have the same magic without Lindsay Lohan? Hopefully, we won’t have to find out, as Banks revealed to ET that her onetime costar seems like she might be into the idea.
The 43-year-old supermodel and actress enticed fans by letting them in on some insider info, saying, “I’ve been hitting up Miss Lindsay Lohan in her DMs, like, ‘You in, boo?’ and I think she is excited to come back.” When asked if Lohan has in fact said “yes” to appearing in the sequel, Banks looked straight at the camera, joking, “Did you, Lindsay? I think she did.” With that, she added a cheeky wink.
In any case, the America’s Next Top Model host said they’re “working on an amazing script.” Banks explained that although “Eve’s kind of stuck in time” (you know, because she’s a doll), the situation with Lohan’s character is very different. “When Lindsay started [and played young Casey Stuart], she was a little 10-year-old girl,” Banks said. “Now, she’s a woman. So, we have to evolve that and figure out who she is today.”
While we do know that the sequel will definitely see Eve helping a young woman learn to live and love again, we don’t know if Lohan will be playing that young woman. So, for now, we’ll just have to keep our fingers crossed that a grown-up Casey Stuart somehow ends up in the movie and that Lohan is the one who plays the role.
