Uniqlo’s Newest Collaboration Will Make You Wish It Was Spring Right Now
We’re going to give Uniqlo an A+ for teamwork this year. The Japanese fast fashion retailer has teamed up with everyone from the coveted fashion editor Carine Roitfeld to the super sleek French label Lemaire. They’ve even partnered with Disney on a line of beautifully designed apparel products (which you should probably purchase ASAP if you’re planning on setting up a profile on that new Disney dating site – just saying). To keep that momentum going in 2016, Uniqlo has just announced that a spring collaboration is in the works with Liberty of London.
What’s Liberty of London? Aside from being one of this writer’s FAVORITE brands, it’s an English textile company that is basically a total pro at the whole floral print thing. While something from Liberty typically warrants a splurge, they’re no stranger to an affordable collaboration. Back in 2010 Liberty teamed up with Target on a killer line of apparel and home decor.
Liberty’s lively prints will be paired with Uniqlo’s LifeWear pieces, which includes a range of items that utilize Uniqlo’s innovative fabrics like Airism, Dry-Ex and Dry Stretch. The line will be available in all of Uniqlo’s departments (women’s, girls’, babies’ and men’s). And that’s about all we know so far, folks. Be sure to check back a little closer to spring, because you can bet as soon as that floral-tastic look book comes out, we’ll be sharing it with ya’ll.
