Uniqlo’s Newest Collection Celebrates All Things Minnie Mouse
Uniqlo has always been our go-to for comfy basics, but what makes the brand stand out from the rest is their stellar collab game. In the past, the Japanese brand has collaborated with French label Lemaire, featured a collection of modest clothing and hijabs from designer Hana Tajima and introduced a line with Disney back in 2015. Just like the rest of us, Uniqlo can’t get enough of Disney, because they’re back with a brand new collection from designer Olympia Le-Tan.
Launching this April, “Minnie Mouse Loves Dots,” part of Uniqlo and Disney’s MAGIC FOR ALL partnership, celebrates Minnie Mouse’s love for polka dots. The collection, which marks Olympia’s second for Uniqlo, will feature 18 pieces for women and girls, including three accessories (including clutches!), with prices ranging from $10-$20.
“Designing a dress for my favorite childhood icon was quite an exciting thing to do. I tried to stay true to what Minnie usually wears but added my personal touch. The sequins make the dress rather festive, which is great as we are celebrating this new collaboration,” Olympia, who’s known for her whimsical designs, noted.
For now, this is all we know about this collaboration, but keep an eye on this space for more news and updates — we know you’re dying to get a peek at more of the pieces (just like us)!
