The Upgraded MacBook Solves All Your Computer Problems
Rose gold is everywhere these days. Whether it’s on a wedding ring, in hair or on clothes, we can’t get enough blush. The trend doesn’t seem to be going away anytime soon, as evidenced by Apple’s new MacBook, which is now available in a pretty rose gold hue in addition to the usual silver, gray and gold.
And that’s not the only great news for MacBook lovers. The upgrade includes an extra-long battery life, so you can spend the entire day on a plane or at a coffee shop, sans outlet. The Verge reports that the battery will last up to 10 hours during Web browsing and 11 hours with continuous movie watching (an hour more than the old version). That’s entertainment for an entire flight overseas.
In addition, the new MacBook has faster processing. According to The Verge, the new processors are Intel’s sixth-generation Core M. The memory and integrated graphics have also been enhanced, promising 25 percent better performance.
If you can’t wait to get your hands on a shiny new MacBook, they’re available in Apple’s online store now, and in retail stores tomorrow (April 20). The new computers will cost anywhere from $1,299 to $1,599 depending on RAM, storage and so on.
