Victoria Beckham Opening Up About Her Family Will Give You All the Feels
Last night, Victoria Beckham received some major recognition at Glamour’s Women of the Year Awards 2015. Victoria was being honored not only for conquering the fashion world with her eponymous line, but also for being a goodwill ambassador for UNAIDS and being an all-around #girlboss.”It started with the Spice Girls and girl power,” she said as she threw up a cheeky peace sign amidst cheers. “And now I am channeling that same message to women through my collections.” She made it very, very clear, however, that being a #girlboss is a family affair.
“Running a business, my work with UNAIDS and, most importantly, being a mum wouldn’t be possible without David,” Victoria said. Are you melting yet? Just wait. “Not only is he the most incredible father, but he’s supportive and someone who loves and inspires me every single day.” Guys, #relationshipgoals.
Adorably, her oldest son Brooklyn was actually the one who presented her with the award. “We are all so proud of you and I’m so excited to be here with you tonight to present you with this award,” said before his famous mom took the stage. “I love you.” Awww.
But remember, while having a supportive partner can be incredibly rewarding, we know there are plenty of #girlbosses out there who are also doing it for themselves.
