The Victoria’s Secret fashion show is just a few months away, and while Hailey Baldwin was spotted at the casting call for this year’s event, along with Taylor Hill’s little sis, Mackinley, it was largely new faces that appeared to nab spots in this year's show. Also noticeably absent from the roster? Gigi and Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner, who caused plenty of controversy with their wings last year. Scroll through to check out who made the cut to walk the runway in Shanghai!
Adriana Lima: This Brazilian knockout needs no introduction: She’s been strutting her stuff on the VS runway since 1999 and is heralded as the “most valuable Victoria’s Secret Angel.” Yowza! (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)
Georgia Fowler: New Zealand model Fowler is back for round two of the gig! “With all things celestial this week, I am truly over the moon to be confirmed for the #VSFashionShow,” she wrote . (Photo via Pascal Le Segretain/Getty)
Alessandra Ambrosio: The longtime brand favorite — she’s been showing off their goods in their end-of-year-event since 2005 — is also set to appear. (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)
Estelle Chen: Just 17 years old, the French-Chinese model is one of the company’s many new faces. “Thank you to all the Victoria’s Secret team… for giving me the opportunity I dreamed about since I was 13,” she wrote on her Instagram page. “You inspire girls to be the best version of themselves and you make our dreams become reality.” (Photo via Kirsten Sinclair/Getty)
Alanna Arrington: We’re not surprised that Arrington, one of last year’s most memorable faces with her sassy expressions and standout curls, got her second callback for the show. She's certainly ready, saying, writing, “Let the countdown to the #victoriassecretrunway begin!” Amen, sister! (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)
Roos Marijndekok: Marijndekok has been working for the company for nearly three years, but it wasn’t until now that she snagged her spot of honor in the show. “Words can’t describe how happy and thankful I am just crying,” she wrote. Awww! (Photo via Johnny Nunez/Getty)
Megan Williams: Not only might you recognize Williams from her numerous Guess ads (she’s been the brand’s face since 2013), but she’s also been welcomed back for her second year of VS’s iconic show, putting her on the vet list. (Photo via Pascal le Segretain/Getty)
Aiden Curtiss: Dubbed as a “rising model star to watch” by Vogue, Curtiss is a second generation model (her mother is Katoucha Niane) who will be walking next to what she calls “some of the most beautiful women in the world” for the first time. (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)
Maggie Laine: Another semi-familiar face comes in the form of Laine, who will be making her second appearance in the show. Welcome back, BB! (Photo via Pascal Le Segretain/Getty)
Blanca Padilla: Perhaps best known as the Spanish face of Dolce & Gabbana, the brunette bombshell revealed that being a show vet does little to quell anxiety over casting with a lengthy post about her journey to this year's show. “Why are we so scared to be proud of ourselves?” she asked. “CELEBRATE YOURSELF. Celebrate your progress.” (Photo via Anthony Harvey/Getty)
Leomie Anderson: Hailed as a “new supermodel for the
Instagram generation," Anderson auditioned twice before bagging her first VS fashion show back in 2015, making her an old pro in this roundup. (Photo via Pascal Le Segretain/Getty)
Nadine Leopold: The Austrian model has already found fame on the covers of magazines such as Glamour Germany overseas, but she’s about to take things next-level with her big fashion show announcement. “I can’t even describe how I feel right now. I will never forget the first time I got a call from Victoria’s Secret. I started from the bottom and had so many ups and downs but now I can say that if you work hard and believe in yourself and stay true to your yourself the sky is the limit!” she shared on social media. (Photo via Ari Perlistein/Getty)
Alecia Morais: This Cabo Verdean stunner, who has previously walked for Tibi and Marchesa, thanked the VS team for believing in her and making her dream come true. (Photo via Gotham/Getty)
Victoria Lee: We’ve got a sneaking suspicion that the new South Wales Narrandera face, who currently boasts more than 30K Instagram followers, is about to get a whole lot more after she makes her big VS runway debut! (Photo via Gotham/Getty)
Sanne Vloet: Though it’s not the Dutch strutter’s first rodeo (this year will be her third time being featured in the show), she’s every bit as excited. “Can’t wait to start this new adventure again!” she said. (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)
Maria Borges: Borges posted a collage of some of this year’s more diverse models, writing, “Thank you very much Victoria’s Secret for giving the opportunity to these beautiful models to shine… Looking forward to slaying the runway with you all.” (Photo via Dimirtrios Kambouris/Getty)
Alexina Graham: The 26-year-old redhead, who’s worked for everyone from Balmain to Jean Paul Gaulthier, will also be joining the VS roster this year. (Photo via Ian Gavan/Getty)
Hereith Paul: It’s Tanzanian Maybelline queen Paul’s second time up to bat, and she’s ready to bring it. “I will give my best on the runway and make sure to represent all the girls out there with dreams bigger than themselves,” she promised. (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)
Kelly Gale: Indian-Australian Gale, who walked in the show for the first time back in 2013, didn’t need a caption to share her happy news, simply posting a triumphant shot of herself smiling instead. (Photo via Bob Levey/Getty)
Grace Elizabeth: The PINK brand spokesperson, who will be taking her second turn down the fashion show runway this year, shared a sweet snap and story from last year’s life-changing experience. “Fun fact: At this moment of the show, I looked out into the audience and the first people I saw were my mom and dad. Out of all the people, they were there cheering front row. Best moment of my life.” (Photo via Phillip Farone/Getty)
Vanessa Moody: Having already conquered the runways of some of the biggest names in fashion, including Kenzo and Chanel, Moody is ready to walk in the footsteps of the famous Angels that came before her, posting a sweet throwback in an homage to her predecessors. (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)
Daria Khlystun: This Ukrainian beauty was so excited, she gave us an adorable vid of herself celebrating in all sorts of ways, from kiss-blowing to jumps of palpable joy. Welcome to the stage, Daria! (Photo via Timur Emek/Getty)
Daniela Braga: Having walked in the show for the last three years, Braga is one of the most seasoned of the show’s alums, but the announcement that she’ll be walking for a fourth time was still huge for the Brazilian pro, who shared via Instagram, “I was constantly bullied through school and suffered depression when I was younger. I did not have a lot of support when I started my career. I moved to NY and did not speak English and heard a lot of NOs. I went through a lot and persevered.” We’ll say! (Photo via Pascal Le Segretain/Getty)
Kate Grigorieva: Former Angel Grigorieva is ready to make her VS comeback with another go in the company’s big holiday event. “Yes, yes, yes, I’m doing a Victoria’s Secret fashion show,” she confirmed. (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)
Amilna Estevao: Estevao had every reason to smile post casting announcement, writing, “Nothing but smiles from meeeeeeee. #superf*cking blessed. #victoriassecret.” (Photo via Antony Jones/Getty)
Zuri Tibby:
Though the Angel has kept mum about her fashion show status thus far, Harper’s Bazaar has her listed to walk among the rest of her fellow wingswomen. (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)
Barbara Fialho: The outlet also has Brazilian-born babe Fialho, who’s no stranger to the company’s fashion show, having walked back in 2015, listed as a participant. (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)
Gizele Oliveira: Move over, Gisele, there’s a new Gizele in town (though she spells HER name with a ‘z’)! Also from Brazil, Oliveria shared the happy news alongside pal Bruna Lirio, who also made the cut with a vid of the excited gals screaming and hugging each other (and a dog!) with joy. (Photo via Andreas Rentz)
Bruna Lirio:
Oliveira’s hugging partner in crime, Lirio, was over the moon, shouting, “WE GOT THE VS SHOW! I’m so grateful that my best friend @gizeleoliveira will be with me in the happiest moment of our lives!” Guess we found our new Gigi and Kendall, eh? (Photo via Grant Lamos IV/Getty)
Leila Nda: This cowgirl is ready to saddle up for the show once more, saying, “All the hard work pays off and I have learned never to give up, I am convinced all dreams come true even if it takes time, just keep going and believe in yourself.” (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)
Mayowa Nicholas: Nicholas gave us a glimpse at the moment she found out the good news, entering a room to applause and covering her face with her hands. “This is a huge dream come true,” she confessed. (Photo via Jlien M. Hekimian/Getty)
Julia Belyakova: The Tom Ford campaign queen will also be making her way down the VS runway, according to Harper’s Bazaar. (Photo via Timur Emek/Getty)
Grace Bol:
Bol, who says she wasn’t expecting much from her VS casting call, was in for a big surprise: “It is beyond my dream to announce that I’ll be walking.” (Photo via Jamie McCarthy/Getty)
Devon Windsor: Prepping to walk her fifth show in a row, Windsor waxed poetic about hope and determination, saying that when you combine the two with passion, “It really is an unstoppable thing… We hear ‘no’ a lot in this industry and getting a ‘yes’ makes all of that hard work and determination worth it!” (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)
Jasmine Tookes: Tookes, who was given the prestigious honor of wearing the $3 million Fantasy Bra last year, will return for another turn on the runway, though there’s no word if she’ll don the insanely pricey garment two years in a row. (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)
Behati Prinsloo: After taking a year off to give birth to baby Dusty Rose, Prinsloo is back and ready for action, according to Fashionista. (Photo via Grant Lamos IV/Getty)
Candice Swanepoel: The publication also cites Prinsloo’s BFF Swanepoel, who also gave birth last year, as due for a comeback. (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)
Elsa Hosk: Having opened last year’s show, Hosk is expected to return with a brand new look , thanks to her recent bigtime chop. (Photo via Pascal Le Segretain/Getty)
Cindy Bruna: The French industry mogul, who’s been the face of Prada, Calvin Klein, and most recently, Balmain x Lancome, in her short 22 years, will reportedly reprise her spot among the Angels. (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)
Lais Ribeiro: The breathtakingly beautiful mommy of one is expected to grace us with her presence in Shanghai. (Photo via Pascal Le Segretain/Getty)
Liu Wen: Wen, who became the first Chinese model on the cover of Vogue this year, broke ground as the first model of East Asian descent to walk the VS runway back in 2009, and she’ll be back again to show ‘em how it’s done this year. (Photo via Pascal Le Segretain/Getty)
Lily Aldridge: Taylor Swift’s “Bad Blood” co-star Frostbyte, (AKA Aldridge), who has been suiting up in the pink robe pre-show since 2009, will make her way down the runway once more this year as an Angel. (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)
Martha Hunt: Now in her fifth year as a participant in the show, Taylor Swift’s pal and Free People spokeswoman Martha Hunt will bring some familiarity to the stage. (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)
Ming Xi: Xi, who also regularly models for PINK, will return home to Shanghai for the affair in what will be her fifth time down the VS runway. (Photo via Dominique Charriau/Getty)
Romee Strijd: There’s nary a name in the biz that the Dutch beauty hasn’t represented (Burberry, McQueen, Marchesa, and Michael Kors come to mind, to name a few), including Victoria’s Secret — she’s been an official Angel since 2015. (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)
Sara Sampaio: Portugese-born Sampaio was cut from the lineup prior to making her triumphant debut on the runway in 2013, but she’s been back every year since, earning her Angel wings in 2015. (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)
Stella Maxwell: Kristen Stewart’s main squeeze
Maxwell will presumably take her rightful place back on the runway stage — she’s been an Angel since 2015 and has walked for the past three years in a row. (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)
Sui He: The equestrian and high-fashion Chinese model/actress was invited back as one of four East Asian models to have ever repped the company. (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)
Samile Bermannelli: Trying not to cry so as not to ruin her makeup, Bermannelli triumphantly announced, “I'M VICTORIA'S SECRET!" (Photo via Slaven Vlasic/Getty)
Dilone: Dilone, who joins the ranks of stars such as Zendaya and Madonna (who just so happens to be her favorite icon) in the one-name club, returns for her second time down the VS runway. (Photo via Julien M. Hekimian/Getty)
Xiao Wen: Wen was cryptic about her successful second show casting, simply writing, “I went to see some special people on a special day. I made a wish. Then it came true. #2.” (Photo via Pacal Le Segretain/Getty)
Shu Pei Qin: We just might be seeing Pei in yet another sexy catsuit, since the Gucci and Marc Jacobs vet will be returning for another go-round with VS come the holidays, according to Fashionista. (Photo via Bryan Bedder/Getty)
Dasha Khlystun: Dasha is presumably the relative of Daria Khlystun (they’ve definitely got a sisterly *lewk*), so we’ll be relying on the first-timers to fill the void of Gigi and Bella Hadid, who haven’t been announced for the 2017 show. (Photo via Antonello Trio/Getty)
Jourdan Phillips: Flowing locks, be darned: Phillips didn’t need ‘em to snag a stint walking in the primetime event last year, though she did clue us in to the fact that we may not recognize her this time around: “This time as a brunette!!! Watch out now!!!” (Photo via Pascal Le Segretain/Getty)
Lameka Fox: Not only has 19-year-old Fox landed the cover of Harper’s Bazaar Vietnam, but she’s reportedly one of the second-year VS runway show alums of 2017. (Photo via Pascal Le Segretain/Getty)
Taylor Hill: At just 21, Hill has been walking with the best of ‘em since 2015, when she earned her wings as a staple for the company. (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)
Josephine Skriver: Having walked in more than 300 fashion shows, this one is another industry favorite. Skriver officially became an Angel back in 2011. (Photo via Taylor Hill/Film Magic/Getty)
Xin Xie: The Chinese showstopper, a regular in foreign fashion spreads, will get her first taste of the VS limelight this year in Shanghai. (Photo via Victor VIRGILE/Gamma-Rapho/Getty Images)
Frida Aasen: First-timer Aasen excitedly shared the news with her friends and fans, saying
, “I have come a long way since my mother agent… convinced me at 16 to go to Milan and embark on this crazy modeling journey. Always remember hard work pays off!” (Photo via Jamie McCarthy/Getty)
Irina Sharipova: It’s been three long years since we last saw the Russian stunner walking this runway, and needless to say, she’s plenty excited to be back. “After so long here I am back with the most dreamed team,” she wrote on her Instagram page. “Words can’t describe how happy I am. Even for short time I will dream again with you guys. But don’t wake me up.” Duly noted, Irina! (Photo via Dimitrios Kambouris/Getty)
