Vodka Ice Cream Is a Thing and We Want It in Every Flavor
We love a delicious cocktail and we also happen to love our sweets, so when the two combine, there’s nothing better — just check out these 21 boozy ice cream cocktails for proof! As Delish clued us in, however, we no longer have to lift a finger to enjoy the combo, since ice cream company ArcticBuzz has done the work for us, giving us a perfect blend of the two with — get this — vodka-infused ice cream. Eee!
The Baltimore-based company is serving up a “home made, hand churned, smooth vodka frozen dairy dessert,” which took quite a bit of research to conceive due to the nature of its two main ingredients. As they point out on their website, “if you have ever put a bottle of vodka in the freezer, you know the vodka wins every time.” In other words? It refuses to freeze in temperatures higher than -17F, making such a feat seem nearly impossible.
Luckily for us, ArcticBuzz eventually “cracked the code” (hoorah!) and is now serving up six mouth-watering flavors with locally made, artisan vodkas. You can take your pick from Cookies + Cream, Key Lime Pie, Raspberry, Vanilla, Coconut, and Chocolate (one of each, please!).
A word of caution, however — the creamy treat packs *quite* a punch with a minimum alcohol per volume of 8.6 percent for a 100 milliliter carton. To put that into context, an average beer has is about seven percent alcohol per volume. Dig into a bowl of Coconut (made with real coconut, coconut vodka, and fresh shredded coconut) and your boozy intake will be a surprisingly high 8.9 percent. Wowza!

Sadly, ArcticBuzz is only currently selling its frozen treats at specialty liquor stores in Maryland. If you’re up for the trip, however, you can find your closest outlet on their website.
