The Most Millennial Box of Chocolate Comes With Tarot Cards and Healing Crystals
Welcome to our food series called Eat It Up, where we share the kitchen gadgets and foods that we can't cook without.
Self-care these days can include mental and spiritual rituals, like using tarot cards to problem-solve and healing crystals as a way to attract love in your life. That's why we think it's *brilliant* that Vosges, makers of some of the most luxurious chocolates in the world, have released a box of chocolates that come with tarot cards and a bag of healing crystals for the ultimate "mindful tasting experience" to help you "manifest your destiny."
The Cosmic Heart Truffle Collection With Crystal Pairing ($115) features a velveteen box filled with 17 limited-edition chocolate bonbons made with the rarest and highest-quality nuts, spices, and chocolates. (Two truffles are enrobed in naturally pink ruby chocolate!) Only three chocolate makers in the U.S. have been selected to use the scarce, berry-flavored chocolate, and Vosges is one of them.
These little tidbits of information can be found on the "guided chocolate and crystal pairing cards," AKA the tarot cards, pictured on the bottom lefthand corner. Pick one of the cards at random (or deal them out to friends), read the instructions (which involves picking up a specific chocolate and crystal), and set the intention offered in the card. Developing a practice of eating chocolate as a meditative and manifesting experience sounds pretty darn delicious.
Katrina Markoff explains more in the press release. "I've always valued instinct and intuition ... This year, I have combined my exploration of crystals, tarot, and intention with chocolate. Everything in the world has a vibration. How might conscious chocolate tasting and carefully chosen ingredients paired with crystals and intentions help manifest our best reality? A lofty question, indeed. So, I ask you to open your mind to a new idea!" she encourages.
