In 2017, wallpaper was our go-to for a quick upgrade. So it's no surprise that 2018's wallpaper trends have us equally as excited about covering our walls. With the help of Hovia Wallpaper, we've rounded up the top styles to expect in the next few months. If you have a thing for bold patterns and rich colors, we promise, you're gonna love 'em.
Terrazzo: Throw it back to the '70s with this stone-forward material that's equal parts funky and fun. Since the true Italian trend can be made up of many different kinds of rocks, the options to cater it to you walls are pretty much endless. Plan to use it in your entryway or washroom to make it really stand out.
Maps: Got a case of wanderlust? This print will cure it. While it's a bit more of novelty, we love the idea of putting it in a playroom or home office.
Marble: Make way for marble. This is your quickest ticket to adding luxury to your space. Stage it in rooms like the kitchen or dining room to give the area an entirely chic flair — before any accents are involved.
Botanticals:
If your jungalow fever is real, but you're really lacking a green thumb, consider this option. The style boasts lots of leafy silhouettes that don't require any love, other than a spot to put them on display. We've got our eye on the guest room.
Wall Art: If there was ever a way to jazz up a wall, this is it. This trend offers options in lots of shapes and sizes, including flowers, waves, and graphic treatments. Try 'em in any room requiring a little TLC.
Brutalist Architecture: Love it or hate it, this isn't your typical modern style. It's primarily known for its blocky, concrete vibe that delivers a sense of edginess to any room (yes, even the pantry).
Ultra Violet: Embrace Pantone's 2018 Color of the Year with wallpaper. Opt to go eclectic with a space-style print or keep it simple with a muted lavender look. Either way, ultra violet will be the ultimate way to impress trendy guests in the months to come.
