Warby Parker’s Spring 2016 Collection Is Inspired by the Circus
Warby Parker has only been around for six years, but in that brief time, they’ve become one of our favorite online eyewear retailers for stylish + affordable frames. Although there are tried and trusted styles that remain season after season, Warby Parker’s new spring 2016 collection is making us take a second look. For this spring, Warby Parker just added 10 new styles to their collection, all inspired by the circus.
Before you start imagining frames with spring loaded eyeballs, it’s more of an influence than a line of joke classes. On the page featuring all the new styles, Warby Parker writes, “For spring, we looked to the bold colors and high spirits of the circus. We’ve taken the spectacle out of the tents — to a cleaner, simpler place.”
And so they have. Throughout the spring line, you’ll find a vibrant red pair of specs, an electric blue option and even a something in a slightly more subdued shade of teal. However, the standout pair in our opinion is the “Haskell” which features clear plastic frame with an ever-so-subtle line of color along the inside.
As with all glasses from Warby Parker, you can try before you buy via their convenient (and sometimes super necessary) at-home try-on program and all come in under $145 (prescription included).
