Smoke Bombs Are the Wedding Photography Trend You NEED to Try
In theory, fog machines are cool. They can instantly add more drama and mystery to a scene. But in reality, it never goes as smoothly as planned. It smells weird, it doesn’t always work…. Basically, it’s not an ideal thing to deal with on your wedding day. If you’re looking for something to take those creative wedding photos to the next level, you may want to consider (responsibly) lighting off some smoke bombs.
This unexpected addition to wedding portraits is a super fun way to add a (literal) blast of color to those memories you’ll keep forever. If you’re as obsessed with color as we are here at Brit HQ, you can opt for something like the wedding party above and really go all in on the trend. If you’re looking for that wanderlust sort of look that’s a little less loud, skip the color and try something like this couple photographed below.

If you’re hoping your wedding dress is passed down for generations, you might want to try the latter, as colored smoke bombs can stain clothing if you get too close. But just look how cool it is! This could definitely end up being a “the reward is greater than the risk” type situation.
