Here’s What Kourtney Kardashian Eats Before and After a Workout
There’s a lot that goes into looking like a celeb. While the hours spent with makeup artists and stylists certainly help, a healthy approach to exercise and eating is key. Keeping Up With the Kardashians star Kourtney Kardashian is one of the notorious A-listers who puts wellness first. Despite having three kiddos, her healthy figure is enough to leave viewers — and ex-BF Scott — lusting after her gorgeous glow. Lucky for us, her habits aren’t just something reserved for the exclusive Calabasas crowd. Below, Kardashian dishes firsthand about her pre and post workout fuel. And trust us when we say her regiment is totally attainable.
The TV star starts her day off on a healthy note. “I always make sure to eat something healthy for breakfast, especially if I plan to work out,” she says. Meals for the mom-of-three included some Vital Proteins Collagen Powder ($43) first thing in the AM, followed by a shake before hitting the gym. Of course, change is always key to staying on track, so when it comes to breaking the routine, Kardashian opts for no-fail recipes: “If I want to mix it up, I’ll have [an] avocado pudding, since it’s packed with healthy fats and fibers. Sometimes, I’ll even make chia pudding the night before and top with my favorite seeds, nuts and fruits,” she says.
After a sweat sesh, the eldest Kardashian sis then likes to lean on whole-grain-packed oatmeal to stay energized, depending on the time of day. “If my workout is a little later in the morning, I’ll have a healthy salad afterward, with protein like eggs, chicken or grilled salmon added in,” she adds. But don’t think she’s talking about a Trader Joe’s on-the-go variety: “…I always make my own salad dressing to avoid all the sugars added to store-bought ones,” she says.

Of course, when it comes to fluids, the Kardashian won’t be caught without her H20. “I make sure to always drink lots of water all day, especially on the days when I work out in the morning,” she says. We’ll take this as our cue to keep our bottles full.
