But this isn’t just a super important cause for Cara and Mel (seen showing off her new Lululemon race capris above) — it’s important for every single one of us with a vagina. Yes, vagina — Lady Gardens’ website cites a recent U.K. study, which found that 65% of 1,000 women weren’t even comfortable using the word to refer to their, ahem, lady bits, let alone addressing gynecological concerns by visiting a doctor (nearly 1/3 ages 16-35 said they wouldn’t go for this very reason). Considering that the same study found that women diagnosed with gynecological cancer had a 40% mortality rate, those are some pretty alarming stats!
Kudos to both ladies for showing their support for such a great cause!
Bonus: Score Cara’s awareness sweatshirt here ($39).
