There’s something magical about winter weddings. For one, you can never tell how many goosebumps and chattering teeth were involved in the stunning outdoor photos. The other magic comes from the imagination of brides and grooms who put forth all kinds of effort into making sure the celebration and the details are just as stunning as the winter wonderland outside. If you’re having a winter hitching and need some creative ideas for your wedding favors, consider these 20 favors that we favor.

3. S’mores Kits: Good ol’ s’mores kits — they work for every season, and even though every other wedding seems to include s’mores, it’s never a bad idea. There’s even a company or two out there that will customize your marshmallows. (via Fondly Forever Photography)
4. Pinecone Fire Starters: We didn’t start the fire… but we did find these fire starters that are made by dipping pine cones in beeswax. It’s an easy project, and the results are both useful and photogenic. (via Evermine)
5. Ornament: If you’re getting hitched during the holiday season, these laser-cut wooden tree ornaments ($2) can double as decor for your wedding and then later on everyone’s trees.

11. Mug: You could collect vintage mugs or have custom mugs printed up to commemorate the day and to hold hot drinks for the rest of the winter. 13. Popcorn: There are a few ways to approach the popcorn idea. You could have a popcorn bar (with different flavors, perhaps) and let guests serve themselves. 14. Fried Herbed Almonds: Who needs chestnuts roasting when you can have fried herbed almonds? Buy or make them in bulk and then stamp goodie bags for your guests. And for the record, we’d be okay with the roasted chestnut idea, too. (via Evermine)

17. DIY Coffee Sleeves: Felted coffee cozies are super easy to make, according to this tutorial. You could easily customize these for your wedding by making an assortment of colors that fit your scheme. (via Purlbee)
18. Maple Syrup ($3): Love is sweet, and so is this maple syrup. We suggest including your favorite pumpkin pancake recipe on a tag.
