They don’t call it Mother Earth for nothing! We dare say, women have an innate connection to the land that helps us appreciate it on a deeper level. For proof, look to the thousands of female conservationists, explorers, and athletes capturing and speaking out for the great outdoors on Instagram. This Earth Day, we are drawing major inspiration from these wandering gals who are fearless in their exploratory pursuits and have a killer eye for photography to boot. Narrowing down the list wasn’t easy. 2. @captainlizclark: When she was in her 20s, Liz Clark sailed off from her home in California in search of epic surf spots — a personal goal that turned into a lifestyle. More than 10 years later, she’s still roaming the high seas on a 1960s Cal-40 sailboat with the cutest first mate ever, her adventure cat Amelia (named after the pioneering aviator, naturally). She found Amelia early on in the voyage, and the “Tropicat” has had a starring role on her feed ever since, along with an impressive lineup of inspiring women who form part of her global squad.

If you can do that, you've got everything you need right now.✨ I could write here something about how I can't wait to be back in Canada in two months, but the truth is, I am really happy that I am home right now and not travelling at all after six years and more than 70 countries. Woke up this morning and opened my bedroom curtains to see my street covered in a blanket of snow. Couldn't find proper snow boots so went out in my Wellies and promptly got frostbite on my toes. Well not really but it felt that way. The plan was to go to the park and take photos. Didn't quite make it. Instead I found this awesome photo by @jacob of that bridge somewhere in Germany (I think) that is a favorite on Instagram.
