Being a kid isn’t always easy, but being the child of a world-famous controversial figure undeniably takes the pressure up about a bajillion notches. That’s why, despite who his father may be, people are coming to the defense of 10-year-old Barron Trump. Included in that group is someone who knows how it feels firsthand — former first-family member, Chelsea Clinton — and you’ll totally applaud what she has to say.
As one of only a handful of folks who know what it’s like to be the child of an American president, 36-year-old mama-of-two Chelsea Clinton has a clear perspective of what it is that Barron is up against. On top of that, she’s witnessed some of the (very public) bullying the 10-year-old has faced since his father became president.
That’s why Chelsea took to Twitter for a very specific reason: to defend Barron.
Barron Trump deserves the chance every child does-to be a kid. Standing up for every kid also means opposing @POTUS policies that hurt kids.

For those who (for whatever reason) need a reminder, Chelsea is here to say it loud and clear: Barron Trump is just a child and therefore off-limits. Give the kid a chance to be a kid.
