Ziploc Now Has a Clothing Line and Yes, It’s Clear-ly Amazing
If you rocked a clear PVC It-girl approved bag in the ’90s and have been not-so-secretly psyched for its return, you’re going to freak out over this news. Ziploc — yes, the ubiquitous brand of resealable zipper bags — now has a clothing and accessories line, because fashion should always be both fun and functional.
We promise you, this is not an SNL parody skit, but an actual collection of clothes and accessories that include a hat, apron, umbrella, visor, and bags… of course. Japanese brand BEAMS teamed up with the iconic company on the nine-piece BEAMS x Ziploc collaboration so couture can exist in your closet and in your kitchen.
If you happen to be in Tokyo, you can already snag pieces from the collection, which ranges in price from $12 for a polka-dotted pouch to $127 for a backpack with the signature blue and pink zip slide. If you’re elsewhere in the world, find the collection on BEAMS‘ website for a limited time on August 20.
We think it’s pretty clear that this collab somehow makes a ton of sense.
